May 26, senior director of Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace Todd Brix on Wednesday posted on the official blog, introduced that after Microsoft launched the new version of Microsoft Windows Phone “Mango”, added web version Windows Phone Marketplace feature.
Blix said Windows Phone Marketplace Web version will be launched with Windows Phone later this year. The service provides users with a new tool for discovery applications and games. The Windows Phone platform developers will be able to have a new application channels.
Same with the mobile version of Windows Phone Marketplace, users can view all applications, view the screenshot to see the details and evaluation. Via the web version of Windows Phone Marketplace, Microsoft will have more space to promote and sell applications.
User will be more convenient to purchase application through the Web version of Windows Phone Marketplace, the service also allows users to share their own applications with friends. Users will be able to share favorite applications with friends via email link, Facebook or Twitter.
To purchase applications through Web Version of Windows Phone Marketplace, users will be able to use the credit card associated to the Windows Live account to pay, you can also specify a new credit card for this. After the purchase, the application will be wireless downloaded to the user’s Windows Phone. Through the web version services, users can also manage the previous download record in order to re-install the application. The service also supports parental controls.
